Farah Noori is a student affairs practitioner working in the higher education industry. She is passionate about supporting student development and creating initiatives that encourage student growth. She has worked for several departments at the University of Toronto such as the Sexual Violence Presentation and Support Centre, Student Housing and Residence Life (UTM), Health and Wellness Centre, and Student Engagement Office. Farah is completing her Masters of Education in Higher Education at OISE University of Toronto.In regards to community involvement, Farah has a strong desire to help Afghan youth (especially newcomers) in the diaspora establish a sense of belonging and community in the GTA.

Huma is currently working at an edu-tech startup that focuses on ensuring everyone has access to education. Her educational background is in Environmental Science and Political Science, and she has long held had an interest in global issues and how to best help her community. She also currently volunteers with an organization teaching English to Afghan Women pursuing higher education. She believes that we each hold a responsibility to positively impact the world around us. In her free time, Huma enjoys reading books, writing, painting and drawing.
